Creativity can sometimes make you more money on the internet than strategies and techniques. Here’s an example to prove my point.
You’ve probably seen this website before Million Dollar Homepage.
When I saw this and learned that it made the creator rich, it completely pissed me off.
All I could think was, “What a simple idea! Why I didn’t think of that?”
After reflecting on the simplicity and effectiveness of his idea, I’d now say it’s completely genius.
His name is Alex Tew & he’s from Wilshire, England. Here’s a seemingly normal 21 year old who needs money for college. His lack of resources only fuels his creativity. So he comes up with the idea to sell one million pixels at $1 each. Brilliant!
When most people say this they probably said, “Oh well I could have thought of that too.”
And yeah, you probably could have thought of it, but did you?
I think most would agree that the actual concept of the site isn’t complicated at all. One million pixels for $1 each is very simple to understand. But if you think inside a box, an idea like that will never be realized.
If you take one lesson from this site, remember that creativity + the internet can make you millions.
